Sorn Is Doing Freelance Video
← Back to The Next Step
Sorn, 25, of the Lahu tribe, was The Next Step's longest-staying resident, living at the house for over four years through his whole education at North Chiang Mai University. He recently finished his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Technology, capped off with a graduation ceremony in November.
Alongside his studies, Sorn built a second life as a musician: he's the lead singer in a band, writes his own songs, and has picked up video production skills along the way. He's since gone freelance with his video work, taking on projects for a music studio and a Lahu Bible school.
The biggest recent news is that Sorn has gotten married, to a Christian Akha woman named Meeu, and the two of them have moved to Korea for work, currently at a strawberry farm. Like Night and his brother Ley before them, they've gone abroad to earn roughly four times what the same work would pay in Thailand.
